2021 Term 4, Week 4
Principal's Piece
Dear Friends and Families
This Thursday, 4th November, we will host Kindy Orientation for our 2022 Kindy students from 8:30 to 10:00am. This is an opportunity for the teaching team for next year to meet the students and their families and begin to establish positive working relationships before they start.
This Sunday, 7th November, we will celebrate the Sacrament of Confirmation for Nelly Melpi. This will take place at the 8:30am Mass at St Vincent Pallotti Church and we invite all our students and their families. This week we observed All Saints Day and All Souls Day. Our school gathered for Mass with Fr Joel on Tuesday which was an opportunity to remember all the special people in our lives who have passed away. Through prayer we find comfort in God's love at these times of sorrow.
Just a reminder that we still have no Canteen. Please continue to send your child with recess and lunch. When we have to make food for children it means we have to pull staff out of the classrooms. If any parents are available to volunteer for an hour in the canteen each day this will assist us with the emergency lunches we need to provide.
You may remember last term that information came home to parents/families about a survey that was collecting feedback about the school. Unfortunately, we had a really low response from our families and as such have not generated enough data. This survey is a great opportunity for you to have your say about what is working well in the school and what needs improvement. The results from this will be used to inform planning for 2022 and beyond. If you can please complete the survey online by going to www.NSIPartnerships.com.au and then enter the code SJKPACS. If you would prefer a paper copy to complete they are available from the front office.

Have a great week.
Miss Gabby
Principal
