2021 Term 1, Week 2
Dear Families and Friends
We have had another great week at St Joseph's. I have enjoyed visiting classes and getting to know the students. I look forward to meeting more of our families at our afternoon tea this Thursday 11th February. It was lovely to see some of our students and their family attending mass on Sunday and I encourage all our families to be active members of our parish.
We have had the painters at school this week giving the exterior of the school a freshen up and the interior of classrooms will receive a touch up later in the term. It was great to start our language lessons with the Language Nest team this week. Our AFAFE Playgroup has also started and the students have loved having little people around.
This Friday is Census Day for schools, where we must count all our students and submit numbers to the state government for funding. It is important that all our students are coming to school every day and if they do not attend, the school must be provided with a reason for their absence. So, if you know of students out in the community who haven't come to school please encourage them to do so.
Thank you.
Miss Gabby
Principal
